Event Description
All July, the Spiral Cafe in Vic West features mesmerizing imagery inspired by suminagashi, an ancient Japanese form of printmaking. Both experimental and contemplative, Susan Ellenton's collaborations with water explore gesture and pause, intention and awe.
Susan teaches workshops and offers demonstrations at events including the Moss Street Paint-in and the Japanese Cultural Fair in Gorge Park. Susan's suminagashi received a juror's choice award at SPAC 's 2026 show in Sidney BC.
